TUITION COSTS FOR 2011-2012

Tuition payments are spread over 11 months, from July 1, 2011, to May 1, 2012. You may pay ahead if you wish (see “Pre-Payment Discount”). The due date is the 1st of each month. A $10.00 late fee will be assessed per child for tuition payments received after the 10th of the month. Any account is delinquent after 30 days. If in 30 days delinquent payments are not brought up to date, or satisfactory arrangements have not been made, the student(s) will be suspended until payment has been made. For any returned check(s), a $25.00 fee will be added to the bill. The tuition payment is non-refundable. New students entering after the beginning of the school year will be charged on a prorated basis.

For families with children in kindergarten, elementary, or high school, be sure to use the multiple child rate above for the grade in which they are enrolling from oldest to youngest. For example, the yearly tuition rate for a family enrolling three children in grades 10th, 6th, and 4th should calculate the tuition as follows: $3,522.00 + $2,522.00 + $1,872.00 = $7,916.00. Please note: All children must be in the same immediate family to be eligible for the multiple child discount.

Fees

Application Fee (new students only): $50.00 per family (Non-refundable unless the student is not accepted). Application fee is due when submitting a Student Application.

New Enrollment Fee: $100.00 for one student, $75.00 for any additional students, up to $250.00 per family (Non-refundable).

Re-Enrollment Fee:
Before April 1st: $25.00 per student, up to $75.00 per family
Before May 15th: $50.00 per student, up to $150.00 per family
After May 15th: $100.00 per student, up to $300.00 per family
Please note: All applicants and re-enrollments will be charged a $75.00 late fee if registering after August 1st.

Textbook Fee (per student, does not include school supplies):
K4-K5 - $115.00
1st-6th Grade - $240.00
7th-12th Grade - $260.00
Textbooks become the property of the parents.

Yearly Student Fee (per student): $75.00
Includes Library enrollment, group music instruction, annual achievement testing, accident insurance, and associational dues.

Athletic Fee
$25.00 per student per sport

After-School Care Program (Occasional)
After-School care begins at 3:25. Charges are as follows:
$5.00 for one student, $2.50 for each additional student in family until 4:00 p.m.
$2.00 per student for each additional 30 minutes after 4:00 p.m.
Notice: Early care and late care may be provided on a regular basis at reduced rates. For more information, please call the school office.

EBT Members Discount
Active members of EBT will receive an additional discount of $25.00 per month for the 1st child and $10.00 per month for all other children enrolled in ECS.

Pre-Payment Discount
An additional discount of 3% of the total tuition cost will be given to those 2011-2012 tuition amounts
that are paid in full by August 1, 2011. Families must pay all of their tuition to be eligible for this discount. This discount does not apply to fees.

Early Withdrawals
Those choosing to withdraw students during the course of a school year will be charged a $200.00 withdrawal fee plus one month’s tuition charges. All registration, application, and student fees are non-refundable.

Waiting List
Members of Emmanuel Baptist Temple in faithful attendance will be given priority during the month of January 2011. For your student’s place to be held, an application must be completed and submitted, and the application fee and registration fee paid. After classes are filled, a waiting list will operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. To be on that waiting list, an application must be completed and submitted; however, the fees will be collected only if an opening becomes available.
